What to Expect
Living Word is a community of believers that love to worship God, build relationships, and grow in our understanding of scripture. We welcome you in person or to our online worship experience. Living Word is a place where the Word of God comes alive! When visiting us, you can expect a caring congregation that will gladly welcome you; preaching and teaching that is centered on the Word of God; ministries that seek to serve the Lord and our community; and a corporate assembly that engages in Empowering the Community by: Exalting the Savior, Equipping the Saint, Evangelizing the Sinner, and Enlightening Hearts and Minds to the Glory of God.

How Do I Become a Member of Living Word?
· In a church service or Bible study, you will be asked to walk to the front and someone will meet you and walk with you.
· You will be asked to profess your belief in Jesus. Romans 10:9-10 King James Version (KJV) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”.
· You are required to enroll in and complete the 4-week New Members Class. The New Members class is held 9-10 AM during Sunday School hour.
Do I Have to Be a Member to be Active in a Ministry?
· If you want to attend any ministry event, in general, you do not have to be a member to participate.
· If you are interested in joining a ministry, Yes, you should be an active member and have completed your New Members class.
What Ministries Do You Have for Children?
- Children’s Church for children 3-8 years of age is a teaching ministry offered during morning worship
- Sunday School is offered for children and youth 3 years and up on Sundays 9-10 AM
These ministries provide a safe environment where kids can be developed spiritually.
The adults that work with our children and youth have gone through a Criminal History Background screening.
